Sarah Verveld, Occupational Therapist - Guyana

Occupational Therapist Sarah Verveld is a volunteer from the Netherlands. Sarah is currently the only Occupational Therapist in all of Guyana. She is working to train Rehab Assistants to fill the skills gap. Rehab Assistants graduate from an 18-month program where they are trained in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech language therapy.
